"Everything is Changing"

Marlin and I had a great time putting this together. It’s always an experiment. We’re always searching, wondering, probing. Last week, we were probing the necessity of change and deconstruction. We (everyone, but especially white people and especially white Christians) must find a way to embrace change and uncertainty. It’s the only way to create a more beautiful future.

This gathering has a little bit of everything. It has charts and graphs about the U.S. electorate. It references a study about the way in which greater religious observance leads one away from progressive/liberal politics. We talk about Jaques Derrida and John Caputo, two amazing thinkers. There are also some beautiful and thought-provoking clips on reality of change. As always, we also have some fun stuff for levity. I hope you’ll watch it.

Next Thursday, August 15, at 7pm, I am going to organize a Zoom call for those who want to unpack these things further with me. I’ll send out those details on Monday of next week.
