Braverman gathering available, and a few thoughts on Epstein

Mark Braverman and I talked candidly about what Israel and the United States have become: tyrannical, rogue nations. I asked Mark if he thought Judaism and Christianity could change. Could they let go of supremacy and certainty? It was a rich conversation.

This short clip from Ben Rhodes, a foreign policy adviser for Barack Obama, reminded me of something Mark and I touched on in our conversation.

Lastly, it is basically an open secret that the current President of the United States, Donald Trump, was a participant in a child sex trafficking ring.

Can we face this? Can the conservative movement in the United States, led by white Christian Evangelicals, end their fealty to a child rapist? So far, the answer to that question has been no.

Believe it or not, the Jeffrey Epstein story involves Israel. Ehud Barak, a former Israeli prime minister, had a close relationship with Epstein. He visited Epstein’s home in Manhattan and Epstein Island dozens of times between 2013 and 2017. Barak has denied sexual assaulting teenage girls, but only a fool believes him.

One of the craziest things happening right now is how there’s been report after report confirming that Jeffrey Epstein really was an Israeli intelligence operative, based on publicly available documents, and yet it’s had no measurable impact on mainstream media or politics.

One of Epstein’s victims, Virginia Guiffre, died by suicide on April 25, 2025. Her book, Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, was released just a few weeks ago on October 21, 2025. I bought it today.

And yet somehow,

somehow,

the cultural and political movement that calls itself Christian dismisses Virginia Guiffre (and the dozens of other victims)

and worships Donald Trump.

I’ll never understand.
