Cynthia and I had a wonderful conversation. We talked about her childhood, growing up Mexican-American in Holland, MI. We talked about her film, which features three Latino students from Holland who are trying to become the first in their family to go to college. We talked immigration, the Latino community, and the MAGA movement. It’s a rich conversation. I hope you enjoy it.
