December gathering on Gender available!

January gatherings: Jan 15, “Climate Collapse,” with Dr. Steven Bouma-Prediger, and Jan 22, “Hear Me Out” with Sarah Leach, 7pm (6pm book signing/happy hour), Port 393, Holland

In 2026, Still Processing will be doing nearly twice as many gatherings as in years past. The new gatherings, tentatively called “Hear me out,” will focus on current events/research that I and my guest are doing. These will be a bit more informal and will give us a chance to process our current reality, whatever it may be, together. Our first guest for this format is Sarah Leach, local journalist and podcaster.

Our December gathering, “Gender, Sex, Biology, Ideology” is now available! This will not be the last time we delve into gender, and it won’t be the last time that we have Dr. Carrie Bredow!

Lastly, I remember learning a lot from a conversation that Chris Hayes had with Dr. Izzy Lowell, who runs Queer Med, a private clinic that specializes in providing accessible health care to trans patients ranging from kids to adults.
