My dad and I had a conversation about the Hasan Piker controversy and American politicians’ cowardice and ignorance. Piker stated that the human rights violations of the state of Israel are making antisemitism much worse. Jewish Americans and others who vocally support and defend Israel are making the problem of antisemitism much worse. This is undoubtedly true, and it is also undoubtedly immoral to defend the state of Israel.
