This coming Thursday, Marlin and I (and hopefully some others) will be discussing Ezra Klein’s interview with Michael Pollan about his book on consciousness and psychedelics. We’ll meet at Brew Merchant in Holland at 7pm on Thursday, January 19. You can listen to the podcast here. It’s a rich conversation that raises all kinds of questions about consciousness, reality, death, and more. Netflix has a series about Pollan’s book that you might also enjoy. Our next gathering for Still Processing will be February 9, where we will discussing the deaths of God. We’ll be sharing some stories, some stand-up comedy, and more. Over 100 years ago, the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche proclaimed, “God is dead. God remains dead.
