Journalist Sarah Leach, this Thursday, 7pm, Brew Merchant

It’s been an incredible few weeks in the United States, even as wars continue to wage in Ukraine and Gaza (and elsewhere). Between the Presidential debate and the Supreme Court decisions on Chevron and presidential immunity, it’s been a lot to take in and process. If you are overwhelmed or confused or anxious (or all three simultaneously), Still Processing aims to help with a very timely guest.

This Thursday’s gathering (July 11, 7pm, Brew Merchant) features Sarah Leach, a former journalist for the Holland Sentinel, who was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in 2024 for her reporting on Ottawa Impact. Sarah and I will talk about her work on Ottawa Impact, the changing landscape of politics and culture in the United States, and more. And as always, bring your questions for Sarah as we will leave plenty to time for questions.
