June gathering on adoption now available!
Journalist Sarah Leach joins SP on July 11, 7pm, Brew Merchant
Dr. Emily Helder and I had a wonderful conversation on adoption, focused largely on the experience of adoptees. Whether you have a personal connections to adoption or you do not, there is much to appreciate and learn from our conversation. Also, for those who want to go deeper on adoption, Dr. Helder provided me with a list of resources, which I am including below.
Next month’s gathering (July 11, 7pm, Brew Merchant) features Sarah Leach, a former (we’ll discuss this, of course) Holland Sentinel journalist who was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in 2024 for her reporting on Ottawa Impact. Sarah and I will talk about her work on Ottawa Impact, the changing landscape of journalism, her personal views on the role and responsibility of contemporary journalism, and more.
