Last Call for Atheism for Lent
A safe place for your doubts, fears, and confusion
I will begin organizing the Atheism for Lent groups this week. I've gotten a great response. Join us! It looks like there will be three groups! It's going to be difficult, but honest and meaningful work. Inevitably, some material will be confusing or strange or uninteresting. Rollins will help you understand its importance, as will I. Something in the course will resonate with you. And it is comforting and liberating to be with others who are questioning, wondering, searching.
I'm anxious to guide people through this material. There are no intended outcomes for Atheism for Lent. Rather, it's about entering into a conversation that is spacious, curious, and unbounded. You come as you are and you leave as you are, and that's ok. Life is a grand experiment, and your life is a part of that experiment. I urge you to be open to the wonder, confusion, sadness, and joy of it all.
You can check out Atheism for Lent and Peter Rollins, creator of Atheism for Lent, here.
I wish you well.
