Last gathering and our next gathering (Kristin Kobes Du Mez!)

The video of our previous gathering with Dr. Tom Boogaart is now on the website! We had a wonderful crowd and an engaging conversation about Tom’s personal journey with Christianity, the Old Testament, and his desire for a focus on the love of God.
Our next gathering is a big one for us. Kristin Du Mez, author of Jesus and John Wayne, will be our guest! We will focus our conversation on Christian Nationalism, including Ottawa Impact, a conservative Christian group vying for (and currently holding) political power in Southwest Michigan. I may even sneak in a question about the tightening relationship between evangelicals and the state of Israel. With elections about a year away, this is a timely conversation.
PLEASE NOTE: The Nov 2 gathering will not be at Brew Merchant, but at Warehouse 6 in Holland. We will begin at 7pm, as usual. You can park on the upper level of the 7th Street Parking Structure. From there, it’s a short walk to the venue. There will be signs directing you to Warehouse 6, which is located on 6th St, just behind the parking garage.
We have space for 180 people at Warehouse 6. Our hope is to get at least 150 people. So please help us by attending and inviting others. You can access the event page on Facebook here.
