New video available and next gathering

I forgot to let you know that the video of our last gathering, “Israel/Palestine and the U.S. after October 7,” is ready (Actually it was ready a week ago; my bad!).

Christy Berghoef and I are sorting out what we want to focus on for our April 11 gathering, which is next week! She has extensive experience in politics, which we will certainly discuss. We are also both looking for new ways to frame our experience of reality. These are big topics! I’m looking forward to fine-tuning our conversation into something helpful and thought-provoking.

I am confident that you will find the discussion that Chris and I had on the tragedy unfolding in and around Gaza (and the West Bank and in northern Israel and southern Lebanon) helpful. So please give it a watch when you can.

I hope many of you are enjoying a relaxing week. It’s been a really hard six to seven months (to say nothing of the last six to seven years), with no mercy in sight. But even in the midst of all of this pain, there is still much joy and hope and love. Soak it up. Do not let those little moments of connection and contentment go unnoticed.
