One thing I will add to the agenda is the case of Mahmoud Khalil, a graduate student at Columbia University who was one of the leaders of the pro-Palestinian protests on campus. Khalil is a green card holder. His wife is 8 months pregnant. He was detained by ICE and is facing deportation. Khalil is not accused of any crime. This is authoritarianism, period.

Finally, I am editing our last gathering for release as a podcast. We are going to try to release the gatherings as podcast episode instead of videos. I will have that out tomorrow, a couple days later that I had hoped.

Lastly, I came across this tiktok from a creator whom I really like and have used before. Her name is Britt Hartley. You can check out her website here. In this video, she articulates the things she appreciates from different religious traditions.
