Still Processing, "The Deaths of God," next week Thursday!

I hope you can join us next week Thursday, Feb 9, 7pm at Brew Merchant. We will be focusing on the reality of our own and so many other people’s struggles with their conception of God. We will focus some of our attention of philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche’s Parable of the Madman, which is a rich and powerful analysis of modern humanity’s struggle with religion, science, and meaning. How do we honor our curiosity, our questions, our wisdom, and our desire for meaning in the 21st century? As things crumble around us, do we have the courage to face reality, whatever it may be? These are hard questions. But they are the questions of our time (of all time?). Marlin and I will do our best to help all of us to face them with honesty and gentleness.
