"How Still Processing changed us, with Josh and Marlin"

For the first Still Processing of 2024, Marlin and I have been reflecting on the origins and the future of Still Processing. Doing this with all of you has changed us. It’s been a beautiful experience. It’s pushed us to think and feel and wonder about our relationships, our hopes, our desires, our country, our world, our universe, and our place in it all.

We didn’t know what Still Processing was when we started it. In part, this was intentional. We didn’t want, and still do not want, Still Processing to have a firm, fixed doctrinal or idealogical identity. But we do want to have an identity. Curiosity and kindness have emerged as central to Still Processing. We have also identified honesty, humility, hospitality, and hope as values that guide us.

With all of this in mind, Marlin and I want to reflect on Still Processing generally, and, more specifically, on the ways in which we’ve been changed by it. As always, there will be lots of media to add wisdom and fun to our time together, and likely even some call backs from some of our past gatherings! I hope you’ll join us this coming Thursday, Jan 4, 7pm, at Brew Merchant.
