The Israel-Hamas War in Context
Zoom courses, December 10 and December 17, 6:30-8pm
The Vis family, Joshua, Sally and Marlin, along with Joshua’s partner, Chris DeBlaay, offer a one-session Zoom course on the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine. The Vises have almost 20 years of experience connected to this struggle between two people groups living a strained and often violent existence. Who is Hamas? What do we mean by the term “settler colonialism” and what does this have to do with anything? What sources can we trust with accurate information? And finally, how does this ongoing conflict affect us? We are offering two identical 1 ½ hour sessions on December 10 and 17, from 6:30-8pm EST. To register please email Marlin at marlinpvis@gmail.com, or message Marlin through his FaceBook account. We are limiting each session to 20 people as we want this to be interactive and we are asking for a $25 donation which will go to Josh and Chris’ Global Mission support. You will receive the best information available from reliable sources and our own reflections from years of immersion. December 10 or 17, Zoom course, 6:30-8 PM EST — limit to 20 persons.
