I’m delighted to send out the recording of my interview with Dr. Kristin Du Mez. You can find it here, and below. We had a wonderful time together with a receptive and lively audience of nearly 300! We were so thrilled about the turnout and about the whole evening. It went as well as we could have ever hoped. Thank you to everyone who helped get the word out about this event!

Dr. Du Mez is wonderfully articulate and fair in her assessment of the rise of Christian Nationalism. You will learn a lot, of course, but I’m also happy to report that we have some laughs along the way. Enjoy!

I’ll be sending out an update on Israel/Palestine tomorrow. We are living through the most turbulent times that I have ever witnessed (I’m 47). It feels important to say that out loud (or in writing, as it were). If you feel scared or anxious, I am with you. If you sometimes fall into despair, I am with you. These are consequential times, and I don’t know where all of this will lead. No one knows. That’s frightening.

I still believe in humanity. I mean that. I refuse to give up on us. We are capable of so much good, so much beauty. We have everything we need to make a loving world. It won’t be easy, and nothing is guaranteed. But the struggle for a loving world is worthy of your blood, sweat, and tears. I mean that quite literally. So let’s find our courage and our hope. Let’s struggle together for the world we all deserve.
